District Profile

Menominee Area Public Schools is a school district rich in tradition with a history of student achievement and academic excellence.

The district is located in the central Upper Peninsula at the southern tip of Menominee County. To the south, the district borders Wisconsin and the community of Marinette. Our district is served by the Menominee County Intermediate School District.

The Menominee Area Public Schools provides educational services to about 1,770 students. At this time, about 46% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch. We employ over 200 people and are supported by an annual operating budget of approximately $14.8 million.
